Review: Game for Seduction by Bella Andre

I read erotica in small doses because the characters and stories usually are lacking depth. Although Game for Seduction takes place in the world of pro football, a setting I thoroughly enjoy, it proved no exception.

I liked that the hero/heroine knew each other before they hooked up. It gave them a history and something to build on. However, all of the characters, in general, were too stereotypical and one note. Dominic and Melissa were likable and had some interesting background to work through. But Dominic was too "caveman" for my taste. As with nearly all erotica I have read, the physical relationship takes away from the romance and emotions. One day, I hope I can find the perfect blend of all of these elements.

I'm sure I will read more from this author if she continues to write about pro ball players. However, I will continue to pick these up at the library. Note: I gave up on her first one, Game for Anything, because the story and characters were weak.
